Rick Landwehr is a drummer/composer/educator based in Brookline, MA. Rick currently perfoms with The Boston Jazz Trio, Ben Bogart Jazz Collective and Colin Stack & Novelty Act. He has played and/or recorded with the Detroit/Ann Arbor-based progressive/alternative rock band Ape 7, Boston-based circus band Cirkestra, Boston-based roots rockers Lemonpeeler and Boston-based free improv ensemble Third Nipple. He also does freelance work and has played with local songwriters such as Michael Hayes and Micah Howeson, worked in local music theater productions (Wizard of Oz, Little Shop ofHorrors) and played all the percussion parts on the soundtrack to the film Darkon.
