Voice

"I love to sing, and I love helping others find their voice."

Born and raised a Midwestern, but now a Bostonian, Ingrid grew up in Missouri, where she achieved acclaim as an opera, and R&B singer. Her musical career started at a young age when she started winning contests and honors.

She was selected as Female Vocalist of the Year at Southwest Missouri State University at age 15. In the next few years she would go on to be chosen for Missouri All-State Choir, featured soloist for Springfield Symphony, Best Actress in Rock Chalk review (Kansas, 2 years in a row), and many more honors.

After moving to Boston she quickly was recognized at Berklee College for her vocal talents. She was chosen as a soloist for the prestigious Berklee Singers Night two times. She also began performing with local bands. Ingrid is now the lead female singer for the Boston Players Band, and continues to perform and record her original music.

As a vocal coach and instructor Ingrid believes that technique is key. "With good technique it doesn't matter what style you choose to sing in, you will do it well and without injuring your voice." With an extensive classical background, along with her pop and R&B experience, she is able to apply those techniques to all styles of music.
