Originally from New Hampshire, Jamie Lynn began her professional music career in Miami where she received her Bachelors in Vocal Performance from Florida International University. After years of extensive classical and opera performance training, she moved to Boston to continue her education at the Graduate level and received her Masters in Music from Boston University in 2009. Simultaneously, Jamie Lynn continued to develop her songwriting career and began collaborating with the citys local talent creating one of Bostons most exciting and emerging new acts. From classical to pop, rock and R&B, Jamie Lynns experience and vocal talent makes her a true crossover artist.
Her grasp on such an eclectic variety of musical styles makes Jamie a very well-rounded voice teacher. Years of teaching experience have made her proficient in teaching all genres from pop, blues and jazz to musical theater and classical. Her teaching style is strongly focused on vocal technique, with close attention to breath support, placement and performance practice. All lessons are geared toward the student and their individual needs.
Teaching voice allows me to share my passion and knowledge of music to inspire others to nurture their love for singing and performing.
