PMLC History

 

Page Music Lesson Center has been dedicated to helping our students improve their music playing since our founding. We have grown dramatically over the past several years, and this growth enables us to continually improve and expand the services and value that we deliver to our students. The following is a snapshot of some of the highlights of our music lesson center's history.

2006:

Expanded the music lesson center to 2,100sf space, which is 4X larger than our previous space.

Hosted our largest Music Night ever, with over 65 attendees.

Provided music lessons to more than 100 students/week.

Launched new website.

2005:

Hosted our first Ensemble Night.

Expanded the weekly hours for music lessons.

Provided music lessons to more than 50 students/week.

2004:

Hosted our first Music Night.

2003:

Launched our original website.

2002:

Page Music Lesson Center founded by Elliot Page in the popular Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, MA.

Founder:
Elliot Page's life has been completely focused on music, and he founded Page Music Lesson Center in Boston, MA in 2002. Elliot has taught guitar lessons since 1990, both privately and within music lesson studios in CO and MA. He is the lead guitarist and singer in the rock group Zyrah's Orange. He has also worked as a music studio engineer at The Small Church Studio and Waltz Audio in Boston. Prior to founding Page Music Lesson Center in Boston in 2002, Elliot founded a music lesson center within Boston Music Co., the largest sheet music retailer in New England, established in 1885. Elliot received his BA in Music from Colorado College.
